Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Swish, joined by special guest Sakshi, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Italian Grand Prix.
The curse has been broken by no other than Max Verstappen, who also made an F1 record of 10 consecutive wins. Alongside Max, Checo also helped secure another record for the team as they crossed 15 straight wins.
Red Bull did not achieve the 1-2 podium easily this time around, as the Ferrari duo gave them a mighty challenge. Carlos Sainz achieved pole position on Saturday and gave it his all to hold off Max, but after 15 laps, Max was able to force an error on Sainz and never looked back. At the same time, Checo stormed from P5 to P2 by battling hard with both the Ferrari drivers.
Albon continues to shine as he drove brilliantly to hold off both McLarens and finish in P7. While the Mercedes duo both served 5-second penalties due to mistakes on track, they still managed to secure P5 & P6. Seeing Yuki having trouble with the car and DNF was sad, but Liam Lawson battled hard and finished in P11.
Singapore is two weeks away, and with a new layout this year, teams expect to have more battles and overtakes, which was rare to see in the past. Will Checo, King of Streets, reclaim another win, or will Max continue his reign?
